The schools awareness programme introduces the youth (learners) and teachers to what human trafficking is all about and the different types of trafficking we are experiencing in South Africa. The presentation also helps the audience to recognize different scenarios e.g. grooming, online safety especially with job applications etc. The programme enables learners and teachers to report these types of crimes should they come across it in their schools and especially their communities. We have specific programmes for primary and secondary schools – let us know if you would like to invite us to come to your school to provide a presentation there.
As Free To Fly we believe strongly that “Prevention is better than cure” – therefore, we are doing awareness presentations in a number of different ways eg. Church presentations, talks on radio stations, presentations at tea parties, stands at various markets and other events. If you are able to facilitate this in any way, do get in touch with us.
Why not get your girlfriends together for a “Tea party” and invite a representative from Free To Fly to share a few words on the signs of trafficking and inspire your crew to come on board and make a difference. Get in contact with us for further information.
Free to Fly needs you to partner with us to help each precious victim move from a place of brokeness to a place of wholeness, hope and a future.
