Our Vision

Our heartbeat is to be a voice for the voiceless, to fight for justice, and to find and assist children to get out of situations of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Our desire is to see lives rescued and transformed from brokenness to a place of wholeness. We believe that beauty and strength can rise up from the ashes and that through the Lord Jesus Christ lives can be healed, the broken-hearted restored and the captives set free.

Our vision is to run a holistic, trauma-informed, survivor-informed programme that will facilitate this journey of healing while raising awareness in order to reduce and prevent human trafficking.

Who we are

Free to Fly is an organisation that is committed to the fight against human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
Our heartbeat is to be a voice for the voiceless, to fight for justice, and to find and assist children to get out of situations of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
As we work with these children, we desire to see them restored, healed and reaching their potential within their local communities. Part of our commitment to the fight is to create awareness – ultimately ‘prevention is better than cure’.

The story of our logo

The butterfly represents the beauty and gentleness of life which is representative of how each girl is created, in the beauty and the image of God. The flame represents the atrocities of Child Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation of which these girls have been victims. The butterfly coming out of the flame represents what we hope to achieve – to set these children Free to Fly.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Free To Fly is a Christian Based Entity and to this end we Believe:

That God has a perfect plan and purpose for each girl who enters the Free to Fly House. Through being both trauma-informed and survivor-informed, our mandate is to help restore each of these precious children from brokenness to a place of wholeness. Our philosophy for achieving this can be summarised in four words beginning with R.

REACH

REACH

Through our efforts, to find and reach children in the dark places of sexual exploitation and trafficking, and help them to understand God’s heart for them. We plan to ignite a paradigm shift in each girl and help them to redefine their meaning and purpose in society.

RESCUE

RESCUE

Our heartbeat is to be a voice for the voiceless, and to fight injustice against children, assisting them to get out of their situations of sexual exploitation and trafficking and into the safe environment of Free To Fly. This will be a place of restoration, love, hope and dignity. Irrespective of religion, race or colour, we believe Free to Fly will be a place where they receive inner healing, hope and wholeness.

ROOT

ROOT

Help children to ground themselves in Christ during the process of inner-healing, restoration of dignity and finding wholeness. Children will be rooted through programmes focusing on Holistic Child Development, Continued Education, Therapy and Discipleship.

RELEASE

RELEASE

Nurturing children to step into all they were created to be and to do, and to reach their full potential as they are released back into their communities and nations to be “agents of change”.
